I thought CrossIron Mills was outside city limits...???
Might be for now but it essentially feels like in the city and I would not doubt that the limits will be moving there soon. Still, Airdrie is only 10 minutes out of city at this point. Now there is no reason why Madjak30 and I can't get together for a ride this summer :righton:
Not sure why we haven't already...not like I don't ride to Calgary to meet up with others already. But this year for sure!

As for the bars...well, the only ones that I frequent usually say "Tim Hortons" or "Starbucks" on the outside...but I'm sure we can figure something out.

Later.

dr_bar was referring to the "nice place" that I met him for lunch that runs a motorcycle theme. 8) We'll leave it at that. Suffice to say it left an impression  hehe

Yep - we should and will meet-up some time this summer. The summer may never happen if this weekend is any indication though. How the hell can it suck so badly outside in the middle of April? Grrr...

HEY - at least the sun is shining this afternoon (as it melts the 7 " of fresh snow that fell last night). Sigh...

Yeah, our weather sucks too, although the forecast rain for today never appeared...

It's nicer in Ft Mac than it is down south right now...not that we're sunbathing, but no winter coat for work! I'm hoping I can get my bike out when I get home in two weeks...we'll see. Have to make a trip to Airdrie to change my bike insurance policy...changing company and need to sign some documents. Might be a good time to meet for a coffee.

I think it's a win-win...

Now, how do we tell the teen daughter? :x

Tell the teen daughter??? Why would you do that? Seems like a great opportunity to leave quietly in the middle of the night. Leave some frozen pizzas and she won't even know your gone for a week or two.

Yup...but sometimes it's nice to have the built in babysitter for her younger sisters...
She sometimes asks to be paid, but then I let her know that rent will be due on the 1st of the month...

They've all come around and are looking forward to the move...mostly. One of the 10s is not too happy (we have twin 10s), but the other two are thinking the move will be fun!

High_Side...I'm making a run down on May 4th (here's the MAP). Probably leave Sylvan around 9am, was going to head down to the Tim Horton's across from Blackfoot Motors...probably get there around 11am ish...

Anyway...I'm hoping that the move to Airdrie makes for more interesting rides! (and maybe a longer season?)
