I think you need to at least talk to a paint guy. I know you would have to prep the surface. Sand it? I don't know. Also a chemical that would clean the surface and prepare it for a plastic primer. There may well be paint that will stick well to plastic though, I don't know. Then if you want it to look right, some replacement decals. I was thinking maybe a half-assed paint job and the sticker might be enough.

I know, that wasn't really all that helpful. Just trying to think it through like it was my problem. You need a paint guy. Most of us are rattle can painters here.

In all seriousness, with an all plastic body and with as little (relative) damage sustained to the bike as you have, I would take this as an opportunity to purchase some nice custom graphics. Take the bike to a vinyl graphics artist and let them see the damage and give you an estimate for some custom decals to fit the contours of the fairing, then go with the usual Japanese symbols or flames or something. At most you'd need to run some sandpaper over the worst of the damage just to smooth out the area for the decal. I don't think you'll be happy with a spray job unless you drop more money into it than it's worth.

pressurized can of paint with a spray nozzle designed to SPRAY PAINT. Try throwing a full or partially full one in a fire sometime, they definately become spray bombs.

I went to a guy, he said my best bet to make it look good would be to repaint the whole front end.. so I sanded down the lower farrings yesterday and sprayed them burgendy.. which came out a total diff color than the cap.. so I'm thinking of just respraying the whole bike black and getting some lime green or metalic red vinyls

yeah if you're going to do a whole new paint job... choose a color that you will easily find a match to later on for DIY'ing touch up jobs.
