I have the Alter Ego jacket and pants.

It is wonderful when you are out all day, where the morning is frigid, and then heats up during the day to the 80s (F) when you strip off the panels to cool down, and then the evenings start to cool again.

It is a LOT better than carrying multiple jackets on your bike for a day. (IMHO)

I would rather have a mesh jacket, than a jacket too hot to wear.

If I was doing high-risk riding, then I would want leather with impact armor, and as many cooling/vent zippers as I could get. But, it would not be as comfortable.

I love my JOE ROCKET alter ego jacket and pants,I really loved the fit wich was hard to find in other brands.It keeps me very warm when I need it and I zip off the panels when it heats up outside.In my opinion they are worth every cent I payed for them.Very versatile,and if they are that bad then why are most places backordered until the middle of May for the pants?That's my 2cents worth.
