You can do it even cheaper than that..... just remove the fuel injector from one of your cylinders, and weld it directly into the exhaust pipe

Even if they did make it up there (would never happen), nothing would come of it. The temps in the exhaust manifold are just as hot, so whatever the flames would ignite would already be burning. My bike is designed to burn unspent air/fuel mixture in the exhaust for emmisions, that's why I will have to put coasters (block off plates) over the emmisions system if I ever change out the pipes (the catalytic converter muffles the backfiring in stock form).iwannadie wrote: i was just worried bout the flames leaking back up the exhaust to the motor but i guess thats not likely with the preasure the exhaust comes out with.
