You can do it even cheaper than that..... just remove the fuel injector from one of your cylinders, and weld it directly into the exhaust pipe :flame:

i think im going to try it on my supra just to see. be pretty sweet to sit at a stop sign and have some 4banger honda pull up wanting to race. rev my engine(which is loud as it is) then have flames shooting 10 feet out the back ;)

i was just worried bout the flames leaking back up the exhaust to the motor but i guess thats not likely with the preasure the exhaust comes out with.

Even if they did make it up there (would never happen), nothing would come of it. The temps in the exhaust manifold are just as hot, so whatever the flames would ignite would already be burning. My bike is designed to burn unspent air/fuel mixture in the exhaust for emmisions, that's why I will have to put coasters (block off plates) over the emmisions system if I ever change out the pipes (the catalytic converter muffles the backfiring in stock form).

ya i read id deffinetly need to pull my cat out of there. wanted to do that anyways. its stock from 87 im sure its not actually helping emission by this point anyways. be easy to throw a test pipe in its place.
