Hey guys, good to be back.
Life is treating me - Eh, not so bad. Mentally dying a bit every day since I have ridden my bike in probably over a year. A little bit due to gaining more than a little bit of weight and not wanting to admit it and buy new riding pants... and jacket - and a little bit due to being in a different house with a hard to access garage and it is a PITA to use the bike. Now I have a bit of fear of getting back on the bike since I haven't ridden in so long. But hey, it is winter and I'm fat and cushy now and wouldn't want to get too cold riding out in the winter.
Other than that, ok. Kids are growing like bananas and all four are in full day school (twins are 4.5 years old now and in full day pre-K). Got to looking at a used motorbike site and drooling over bikes I don't have. Then had the realization that I don't ride the one I have now, got depressed and headed over here.

Not that Total Motorcycle is depressing, but it is a good place to chat about bikes.
How are you guys?

Same old grind here. Work, work and more work. Still riding the Buell or the Connie. I bought a second house last year as a garage, it's right across the street, and cheaper then building one. I started going to a gym 3 times a week, turning the fat into muscle.

Your Coolness Factor of the 2014 Ducati Superbike 899 Panigale is:
Awesome (3 points) 61% [ 28 ]
Cool (2 points) 33% [ 15 ]
Uncool (1 point) 2% [ 1 ]
Fail (0 point) 4% [ 2 ]
Total votes : 46
= a Coolwall Factor of 83.3%
NOTES: We have a tie for 1st place on our cool wall thanks to Ducati's new 899 Panigale with a vote of 83.3%! (Tied with 2013 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V SE). Will the Ducati and Moto Guzzi last as our #1 bikes of 2013 or will a bike between now and December 31st become the new King of Cool?
Next bike is now up for voting on, have fun!!

My commute has gotten worse. I'm doing the job search thing. I want something close so I can get a second bike, if I manage to have the time to ride the first one!

Yep, still ticking. I gained a bunch of weight and got an award - high blood pressure. Sometime when I actually get time to ride we could get together! Traffic has gotten so bad that I stopped riding the bike to work. I guess the economy has recovered - at least mostly!

That's why I try to get up and out early, be at my office by 7:30 am. That means I leave by 6:30-6:45, it's 31 miles. If I get out early enough, it's not too crazy and reasonable for the bike. Wait until 8am and traffic is very nutz.
