The panniers are on the bike in Feb. Motorcyclists review of the bike, they look good but would only carry some rain gear and your lunch to work.

That's the rear fender/hugger. It is connected to the bike on the swingarm side of the bike.

JackoftheGreen wrote:I think it looks great, the way the fairing flows into the tank, down into the saddle and then arches back up into the pillion -- there's a blending in there that manages somehow to look both futuristic and organic. Little cues like the lumbar pad suggest there's been some attention paid to comfort, though I've never sat on one myself. And did you notice how from the profile view that front fairing looks like sabre tooth tiger? Look again, you'll see it. Lastly, on styling, those tubular tail lights are by far one of the edgiest design choices I've ever seen, awesome!

I'm giving this an Awesome. I'm sure the performance and technology earns that by itself, but I just love those funky flowing modern lines and that's where I'm voting from.
I am with you on this one, I'm giving it an awesome for pretty much all that you said above. Keys for me: TAIL LIGHTS! and the touring capabilities on a wonderful sports bike. I cannot see the ugliness that others are seeing in it. AWESOME!*

(*My Awesome vote comes with a caveat, that if it does what it says on the tin then it truly deserves this rating. However, if you can only ride it comfortably for an hour, then I change my vote to Fail. LOL!)

I voted: Awesome

How can I not give it an Awesome if I think my old V-Strom was Cool? :D

Fuel tank capacity 20 l, a mid ranged tourer (I can't see it yet as a cross country one like MV is suggesting) and those pipes, wow. A 800cc engine is perfect as long as it isn't buzzy and the seat looks "ok" considering it is an exotic bike. Yes, MV Agusta, the Lamborghini of motorcycles, can make a tourer, but I wouldn't be treating it like my old V-Strom... :D

It's good to see a company like MV Agusta reaching out into a different market segment and using one of their incredible engines to boot.

Awesome.
