Thought about renting one for the track day I did...didn't really fit, and I decided that if it meant wearing one of those uncomfortable, sweltering things, I would probably give up riding. Topper: I nearly strained my shoulder getting out of the damn thing.
I have riding pants, an armored jacket (one textile, one mesh), and gauntlets.
