This is the only MV Agusta that I ever thought wasn't stunning looking. In fact, this thing is plain fugly looking. If you are into this type of bike, I would get the Multistrada over it. Uncool.

I went with Cool. I don't particularly like the styling, but it's not bad, so I can't go uncool on that. And it does have an impressive list of kit. Price is high, yes, but it IS an MV Agusta! What did you expect... Honda pricing for an MV? I'll stick with cool.

The Multistrada is certainly more practical and a better value. I never imaged myself saying that about a Ducati, which speaks volumes for the MV Agusta.

Are far as ugle, the Rivale 800 is ugle.

Richard

It's sort of a V-Strom 1000 with a ton of Italian style, isn't it?

I like it, but a price of almost EU19K is nuts. A KTM 1190 Adventure is way better value. At least you get a dose of off-roadability.

I've been disappointed with the looks of several of MV Agusta's recent bikes. The original Tamburini-designed F4 was one of the most perfectly proportioned bikes ever, IMO. They've really dropped several notches from that level.

The original Brutale was stunning too! :kicking:

I voted: Cool

I think it's awesome to see MV Agusta bring out so many new models, they are really testing the market! But on the other hand, too many models will water-down their sales and water-down the "uniqueness" of the brand. The brand itself it top tier, and thus the price. While I don't like the price of it (I think if it comes to the USA/Canada it will be $19k) I place MV Agusta above Ducati and Triumph and definitely Suzuki (which all make great bikes in their own right) so a premium has to be placed on a premium product.

2015 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso 800 - It's interesting, for me, it combines all the special, unique parts of the MV Agusta line into 1 model. The front fairing from the F4/F3, the chassis from the Brutale line, the single sided swing arm, full color display, hard bags and all in a aerodynamic package. It's weird though that it just doesn't look as good at it's components do (if they each sat alone). The bike seems to me to need more wheelbase as it's so tall it looks a little "squished". Odd. The only real functional item that I'd like to see improved is the seat looks a little "thin and non-touring like". So that gives it a Cool for me.

Total Motorcycle model page: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/motorcyc ... so-800.htm

Your Coolness Factor of the 2015 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso 800 is:

Awesome (3 points) 38% [ 10 ]
Cool (2 points) 38% [ 10 ]
Uncool (1 point) 12% [ 3 ]
Fail (0 point) 12% [ 3 ]

Total votes: 26

= a Coolwall Factor of 68.0%

NOTES: Top of the line Sport Tourer, from a top of the line manufacturer with top of the line features/styles/technology to match but with a top of the line price as well. It's impossible not to see something on the new 2015 MV Agusta Turismo you don't like, but the overall package might be too much icing on the cake. A 68% cool factor is pretty sold and it should "sell well" for a bike in it's price category, but MV needs to do more to rank it higher.

Get excited as the next TMW Cool Wall bike is now up for voting and discussion, have fun!
