Insist on getting the i's crossed and the t's dotted or you will surely pay for it later.
That was my attempt at humor. However, the intent should be obvious to anyone who has tried to shuffle paperwork through any governmental agency. When you know paperwork is meant to be a certain way never let a buyer or sellor convince you otherwise. Maybe it could be a deal-breaker but a deal should be smooth start to finish, not a pain in the rear. If it is it's usually a sign you're getting screwed somehow. The same goes for those deals that are "too good to be true."
easier.

I went to the DMV, and I actually should be able to transfer it without lawyerin'. Which makes me happy, because I hate frivolous suits and dealings. I'm gonna mail a request for a bill of sale (no laughing now, this was my first veehikle transfer ever!), and, after the idiot doesn't mail it back in a few weeks, I'll take the mail reciept to the dmv and they can transfer it for me.
I bought a new gas cap for $5. The old one leaked, so This was a positive thing anyways. Now I need to make the keys I got for the ignition work, so no one can steal it.
Thanks for the support!

Actually, it was freaking me out - the ignition twisty switch works out of the metal sheath that the key goes into...but then when I set it in the sheath, it quits working after being turned on and then off one time. I'm pretty positive it's not slipping, so I'm baffled. I don't want to glue it completely in yet, so I'll see what I can do.
