To safetyboy: I'll bet you can easily wipe out your wife in a drag. A friend of mine also has an LS650. She is a little timid and new, but I get the impression the 650 has very little oomph even when pushed compared to the 454. She has a hard time keeping up with me and her husband .

You are right PK it was a 500 that I saw.

If yuo're willing to run an LS650 right it'll keep up with an 800 Marauder with few problems. Yes I've done, and no I'm not proud of it :P
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Hi PK,

Just saw your post, and why yes... I smoke her Suzi like a cheap cigar!

Now she's looking at a Ninja 500R, Triumph Speed Four or Ducati Dark 620... So it looks like my days are numbered!

Started working on my 454 a bit. It runs great, but is ugly! I was missing the sissy-bar pad - just found one on eBay for $8, sissy-bar included. That should improve things a lot :laughing:
