Funny you should mention that. I was thinking the same thing. I'm just looking right now but the GS500E used has a better price (being important to me as a beginner).although i'd be getting a 10 yr old bike vs. new.

I like the looks of the GT as well. I might have to be willing to up my $$$ spending money to go for a demo 2004 model. There is one in Richmond in Yellow. Sounds like a great starter for me.
