Little choppers in the streets are considered game animals in our neighborhood as they are not licenseable for general road use, to be harvested by SUV's and full sized pickups. You can buy little decals to put on your quarter-panels to show how many you have destroyed.

Life without the possibility of parole.
For the car driver or the idiot doing 40 on the sidewalk?
the car driver.
Seems to me that someone operating a motor vehicle on a public sidewalk might have to accept part of the blame for acting in such a illegal and stupid manner. But what with all the lawyers and blame-avoidance so common here in N.A. these days, it is possible to be completely at fault and still make the other guy pay for your blatant breaking of the law.

Or is it legal to ride a moped on the sidewalk down there? It sure ain't legal up here. But killing someone, even by accident, who is breaking the law and endangering others is fast becoming a capital crime.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

as far as i know riding a scooter on the sidewalk isnt legal, shesh riding a bicycle on the sidewalk isnt legal.

the smaller pocket bike/chopper mini scooters have been pretty much all banned here on public roads. a buddy of mine was riding a mini bike(lawn mower engine) on a public road, got pulled over poor guy got So many tickets. i think it was over a grand worth of tickets the cop really stuck it to him, but at least he was On the Road.

just today i saw 2-3 more of these scooter/mopeds(not the small pocket bike ones but i mean full size scooters) on the sidewalks/bike lanes going full speed. must be a group of kids around here that got some all together maybe, its only a matter of time before they get run down by an suv.
