Back when I was in middle school (about a thousand years ago) and just getting into Rush there was this other girl in my home ec class who was also into Rush. She spent the entire class writing mult-page letters to Alex, Geddy, and Neil, and claimed to have slept with the whole band. She said her and a friend had once made an encircled pentagram on the ground (like the Rush logo) and they had taken turns laying down splayed out on the pentagram. One of her friend's arms went out of the circle and supposedly a few days later this person's arm became broken.
This psycho girl also told me that Rush stands for River Under Satans House

Another nice, normal woman turned loose on society. I think I married her once upon a time......

WOW! i can't believe they're still around... i did a google and notice they been releasing albums still... as recently as 2004... yikes. i may have to check them out again... they did have some classic tunes that i still listen to if the radio plays em... like Tom Sawyer. That was one I enjoyed, and I'm sure there are a few more...

Yeah I read his book a few months ago. If you love motorcycles and Rush you might want to pick it up (although very little of Rush it mentioned). In a nutshell: Neil Pearts wife and daughter die within the same year and he takes to the road (he calls it the "healing road") for several months on his bike (BMW don't recall the model). He rides through Canada, U.S., and Mexico.
I liked the parts where he was actually writing about being on the road, the places he went to, etc. A lot of the personal stuff (and there's a lot of it) got so tiresome after a while that I skipped those areas. I suggest you check it out from the library rather than spending your hard earned cash (like $25 or something).
BTW on Rush's newest album "Vapor Trails" there's a great song called "Ghostrider" the idea and inspiration from which came from his road trip.
