well i took out the reeds and they appeared to be just fine well i filled it up with some gas and it poored out the bottom of it i didnt have any kerosene or varsol does it make a difference?...well yeah so should i order some new reed valves?

Gasoline works fine, it's more an issue of flamabilty. So the reeds may be part of the problem.

But you should put it back together and do a compression test before buying any parts. I don't know dick about carts 'cept they got more tires than you really need, so I ask..... how do you start this thing? Push start only? That will make takeing a compression test a bit harder, but not impossible. If the compression is really low, you should probably re-ring it as well. Aftermarket reeds are longer lasting and ussually cheaper as well.
I don't know the specs for acceptable compession reading on your motor, but I would guess anything below 80-90 PSI would mean the poor little thing is worn out.

You may want to pick up a service manual for the motorcycle the motor came from, just for the engine and carb section.

yeah you have to push start it but i have a stand it sits on thats about 4 feet off the ground so i can just put it in gear and turn the engine over so i dont think it will be too bad...i think. well ill compression test and let you knowhat happens

ok well i worked on it for about 3 hours tonight and i just cant figure out whats wrong i took my silencer off and it actually helped quite a bit and will take off really good and then when i slow down and go to take off again it will do the same damn thing so after it was warm i went and checked the compression and its at 90 psi which i think is good im not really sure well i messed around with the float height a little and things got better things got worse but it never worked 100 percent no problems at times it got really good like the best its ever run and then it will just not go i dont get it got any other suggestions?

At 90 psi, it isn't great, but should be running better than it is.

You took the silencer off. Can you see through it? If it's plugged, that would be the problem in all likelyhood. If all the packing material is blown out, it will affect the way it runs, but not to the extent that it being blocked by packing coming loose will. I assume it is not a stock bike piece and so is probably rebuildable. I would re-pack it just becuase now that it's off. A bag of muffler packing(use real packing, not just any old fiberglass matting or insulation) will cost you under $20.

well i took the silencer apart and its not clogged so i dont think thats the problem but im not sure...do you think i should change the rings?

I really think you oughta get a service manual for your motor. Barring that, throw parts at it. Sooner or later, something will fix the problem.

But if it was me, I'd get the specs and start troubleshooting in an organized and logical manner.

New rings ain't gonna hurt it. But they might not fix either. If your determined to proceed without knowing what readings you should be getting, might as well pull the cylinder off and inspect the piston, rings and cylinder.

i have a manual for it and i went through every troubleshooting they had in the book and tried it and nothing made a difference ive run out of ideas of what to do

What is the recomended compression readings in your manual? If your 90psi is close to what they recommend, then rings probably won't help. If it is low, then rings will help, but to an unknown degree.

It still sounds like a carb issue to me(mind you it's pretty hard to hear online ).

Does your service manual have a troubleshooting guide? What does it recomend for a problem like this?

well i actually looked in the manual for about 30 min and never found anything about compression so i just went by what you told me and the truoble shooting was all the same things that you asked me the very first time you replyed to me blocked exhaust, float height, overheating, ...etc. and i changed everything to where the manual says have it and none of it made any differeance the only thing that made a slight difference was when i took the exhaust off so i dont kno what else to do
