I have to admit everything I read about Busas was on an XX board, so maybe it was just bad-mouthing. I never actually verified, because I didn't have a Busa, so it didn't matter to me.

Here are the Busa problems I'm aware of.

99-00, or somewhere around there, they had aluminum subframes that would crack. Every Busa since then has a steel subframe. There were a couple of early years where there were starter problems also. Suzuki has made minor changes throughout the years, all for the better. The only thing I frequently hear about, and it has happened to me also, it sometimes there seems to be a neutral between 5th and 6th. It only seems to happen when you gently shift. Shift like you mean it and it never happens. It happened to me last weekend for the first time in about 7000 miles. I was riding with my wife (on her own bike) and was taking it easy.
