Back in my goofier days (early 80s) it was a big status symbol to have one of those curly-cue cell phone antennas on the back window of your car (before cell phones were truly portable). Just for grins, I bought an antenna and stuck it to the back of my brain bucket. I was amazed at the number of people who'd roll down their windows at a stoplight to ask if I really had a phone in my helmet.
