Pant filling day yesturday!!!
Note to self, do not go out when when wet. I discovered that I am not experienced enough to ride in wet conditions yesturday. The back end of the bike felt like it had no grip and I felt it slide out all over.
I was going to 'see' a friend at Ketton Meadows. its really pretty out there and peaceful.
I banged on from there to Bourne to see my mother. I ride all the time, no worries but whats the last thing she says to me?
"Make sure you ring me so I know you got home safe."
Brilliant, mind you coming back in the dark with all the loony cagers on a fast siingle carriageway road was 'interesting'
So that was yesturday, and all good experience I guess. Next time I see the Superbikes racing in the wet though I'm going to have a stack load more respect for those guys.
Today a very nice man called Neil picked up Jules CM from Thurrock and my CZ project from Maidstone before delivering them to me. He releived me £175 for the pleasure but it was money well spent. His van is state of the art adapted especially for tranporting bikes (I think he transports his own race bikes at the weekends in it)
Got to say if you cant get a trailer and you have some money to spare I can throughly recomend Renaissance Motorcycle Transportation. Top of the line, couldnt say enough good about them.
So anyway one quick job of taking the bars off of Jules bike (need to put a smaller set on I think) I got both bikes in and stashed out of the way. Our yard is starting to look like a used bike show. The CZ is a lot better than I thought it would be, looking forward now to getting a workshop manual and starting work on it. At least they are safely parked up and all clean now.
My knees ache...

Don't give up.
Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.
If you never give up, you can never truly fail.
