goes with whatever you want. If you respect enough to the road and hazzard you should be okay even on V-Star 1100cc.
Only concern on 1100cc is the weight which is around 600lbs. This gonna be a lot difficult for slow speed and on the high traffic area. You live in rural area then you might not have to worry about it much.
The power on 1100cc isn't much more than 650cc but it accelerate faster and you can feel the power all the time. You have to make sure to pratice on throttle a lot. Pratice a lot on slow speed, u-turn, 8 figure, and quick stop and you should be fine.

, I am only 36, 5.7' and 160lbs with 650cc Custom which weight only 470lbs. I like my bike and think it is suit me the best. I long for 1100cc as well becuz I alway ride on FWY at speed 80mph but 1100cc kind of too big for me to handle on heave traffic and cayon road beside I only ride for 3 months and 4,000miles
