1) Do you ride to work? Why or why not?

Yes, because the bike gets 40 mpg and the truck gets 20 mpg. And it's fun.

2) What do you ride?

'77 CB 550 F

3) What do you typically wear when riding and why? Does this have any impact on whether or not you ride to work?

Full faced helmet, leather jacket, gloves, and jeans. Now that it is getting chilly, I might start putting chaps on, and later I'll add the baclava. I'm still thinking about picking up one of those reflective vests once I save up the $$$.

But the bike has been out of commission for 1 MONTH  while some of the gaskets are on backorder. Such nice weather, recently, too

Yes, as often as weather permits here in Ohio.

Why wouldn't I? Seriously though, riding is fun so why not start and end each work day with a smile?

2004 Kawasaki Mean Streak 1600

In the summer, just my work clothes and a pair of sunglasses. As it gets colder I'll throw on my Joe Rocket Ballistic Series jacket, and maybe gloves. When it gets colder yet, I may add a beanie or I may break down and actually wear my full-face helmet.

1) Yes, nearly every day. I just plain enjoy it. It's quicker. It's way cheaper, especially now. Rain is rarely a factor in San Diego, but when there's precipitation, I drive a car.

2) 2005 BMW F650 GS Dakar

3) I work on a federal facility (SPAWAR) so safety gear is required to ride onto the facility. I must wear a protective jacket with decent reflective material or an orange vest. Helmet w/eye protection, gloves, boots and long pants are also required. The only rule I ignore is the boots. Prior to the bike, I wore a suit/sport coat everyday to work. Now, I just wear a tie. Somedays, I absolutely must wear a sportcoat or suit, and those days I drive a car.

1) Do you ride to work? Why or why not?

I ride to work every day. I ride as much as I can and going to and from work is as good a time as any.

2) What do you ride?

I ride a Suzuki 1200 Bandit.

3) What do you typically wear when riding and why? Does this have any impact on whether or not you ride to work?

Full face helmet, leather jacket, leather gloves, Draggin jeans and Alpinestars riding boots. Changing when I get to work does not bother me as it is simply a part of motorcycling.
