question about starting/stopping

In a car, no. In a bike, yes, if it has a wet clutch. Sure, some bikes have dry clutches (like a car), but in most cases you can ride the clutch all day and it'll be fine if it's wet. Never seen or heard of a car with a wet clutch though.bigswifty wrote:the clutch is not a brake! FYI (for those who don't know)
Dry clutch = clutch not submersed in oil.
Wet clutch = clutch submersed in oil
