I reas the details on the Yamaha website and am impressed.
HOWEVER - It would make more sense to put this semi-auto on a medium sized daily commuter bike like the FZ6 - something that is used in the city in stop-n-go traffic.
full or semi automatic

RE: "dn-01/e-04 website"
DN-01 - Normally, I would assume Honda was lying about it like they lied about the Griffon being a "near future model" but the CEO of HONDA stated that the DN-01 would go into production. However, it is unknown whether the DN-01 will be a japan-only model.
E4-01 - I doubt Honda will actually produce this 903cc scooter. more likely, this is a way of telling Piaggio and Suzuki if they spend money on R&D to develop super-scooters in the 750 - 850 range (and they sell) Honda will put this bike into production. It's a threat not a plan.

RE: "The future is here, deal with it."
Right, like the "future is here" back in 1998 when Honda unveiled the ZODIA - a 1500cc auto-tranny motorcycle:

Face it, Honda has been pimping the twist-n-go crowd for years.
