Wait, you can rent a bike?
From regular car rental companies (Alamo and....well that's the only one I know) or special bike rental companies?

Prices are NOT cheap. But it would be cool to rent a bike on vacation to explore a non-urban environment.
I don't even want to think what would happen if Alamo rented bike to those people who can't even drive cars...

Wow, that really blows. If they kept saying how much harder they were than the DMV test I woulda been having some deep regrets. Well, at least they're letting you re-take for free. Just try to borrow a bike from a friend and practice the manuevers they showed you in an empty parking lot. If you can't get a hold of a bike, then maybe you can get hold of a bicycle and just redo the manuevers just getting a feel for the balancing...but then again that may screw you up more.
