Trial balloon or whatever, it is not a good idea, and promotes an already money-grubbing image of the prez. Does he just sit there and say, "this is really dumbassed, but it could make a lot of money?" Trial balloons like this demonstrate that our own government is the worst enemy of the people and how little the government cares about us. We are merely expendable cattle and sheep, targets of schemes to leave us with little or nothing. Yet they have the gall to try to convince us at election time that they truly care about us and our welfare is of primary concern to them.
Medicare part D probably wasn't a trial balloon, but rather a poorly conceived plan that was changed a couple times to make it worse, but the president signed off on it anyway. Right, he cares about us. Millions of paper divorces will likely result from that fiasco, and the resulting hardship filings and requests for free meds will flood the manufacturers.
George and Company are raping us all. And murdering, too, thanks to part D.

Hell if we don't get some leaders who actually care about this country, I'm gladly moving to Canada. Imperial measurement system is ridiculous by the way. Except I'm keeping my mph speedometer. Love those miles per hour...

lets not all bail out prematurely--somebody is going to have to send monetary aid to France because of the civil unrest there and who better than the american taxpayer.or better yet lets take all the dissenters and bring them here so they can start drawing welfare checks.

the supreme court fixed it so that if you voice any unhappiness about the new tax rule the government can declare your land imminent domain and simply take it from you.
pa state law just passed something that apprently wont let the goverment seize your land unless its gor public property like a park or a highway or something...i knew i voted for a reason...

also...they are thinking about getting rid of property taxes all together in Pa...

they lowered our property tax here a few years ago and increased the tax on everything else to make up for it.

My Dads got cousins in Pa - something to do with chainsaws - always seemed like a nice, sensible state.
