You may also want to take alook at craigslist.org/. Found my bike there for at a good price.

I have a second here for craigslist and cycletrader. You'll find more used bikes there that you can actually go see than anywhere else. For craigslist it helps to be near a major urban area. I know some folks have had ok luck on newer bikes on ebay... but I'd never get an older bike there unless I could go see it somehow.
