Well streetfighter are a evolution from cafe racers, they started in england, and made apperances in a magazine called BACK STREET HEROES, which I believe isnt arround any more,

Streetfighters are very european style bike, and each european country seems to have its on turn on them, the germans tend to exagerate the rear of the machine to get it as high as posible, the british tend to make them minimalistic, and emphorsis is on handling and performance, the emercing american scene seems to be all about BLING. crome etc...
Streetfighters can have fairings, but mainly I believe the streetfighter is a customised Motorcycle, that stands out from others, that isnt a chopper.

its a lable, and its not about crashed bikes that you cant afford to put a fairing on to. tell that to a guy whos put 20,000pounds in to a SPondon Oil cooled GSXR1100 turbo Streetfighter and Im sure he may be offended.

We still have BSH (http://www.backstreetheroes.com/) and 100% Biker covering the custom end of things...

Its 'Streetfighter' magazine and AWOL that we lost as mags in their own righ, in fact BSH will even send subscriptions to Canada!
