Don't need one for either of them. Just adds weight and slows it down.TNTNUS wrote:Seeing as they don't make one for either of your bikes???
If you believe this adds 12% more power, you also should be investing in the Turbonators, the vortex generating inserts for your cars intake. They are "Dyno proven" too .
Admit it, the HYPErcharger looks like the intake on a supercharged drag racer. It even has moving butterflies. Other than that, it doesn't do a darn thing except increase the "Bling". . Below 80 miles an hour the ram effect, if there is one, is negligible. Above 80, the darn thing needs to stick out far enough to be in some serious wind. The Bikes these is made for aren't driven at those speeds. They usually are naked bikes and are uncomfortable at speed. If they have fairing (not naked), the fairing blocks the ram air effect anyway.
I don't believe the hypercharger works any better than any other free breathing air filter. It may provide a little nore power over stock, but I doubt it is any better then the dozens of free flowing airfilter out there.
If you have a dyno plot showing a bike that is STOCK, dynoed before the addition of the HYPErcharger, then Dynoed after the install, with no other performance enhancing changes, and shows a 10% or better improvement in HP, then I will retract my statements, admit you are smarter than me, and apologize to the internet community as a whole.
Buy it for the bling, it does look cool. But if you think you will see 12% HP increase at the rear wheels, you are only fooling yourself and a number of other people too.....but not me.
