Welcome Hammersfan!
I'm a bit of a fan of the GS 500 Suzuki because I rode one professionally for work over a 2 year period. I always wanted to turn it into a 750 for that EXTRA grunt! However I didn't get the chance....so I bought a new 1990 Heritage instead....Anyway.....
HEY how about all you Canadians meet up at a rally or something??

That would mean that the western contingent will get ride 2000km straight east across the bald-headed prarie. No offence to our eastern brothers, but a get together with our californian members would be closer and the ride would be more interesting...CentralOzzy wrote:What....no M/C Rally in the middle of Canada?

Hello from Whitby, Ontario, Canada
Hi,
I started riding and racing motorcycles in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania since 1975.
I then moved to Canada in 1982 and the "biker bug" bit me last year!
... when my next door neighbour rode in with a shiny red Yamaha V-STAR.
I bought a Yamaha V-STAR 650 Classic and really enjoyed the summer of 2005 in Canada. ....
It is fun riding through the country roads in South-Eastern Ontario.
