Re: Neep some help....
You grabbed the throttle with both Hands? Sounds like the acceleration caused you to add more throttle. I've seen that happen. And with two hands on the same side of the handlebar, control was probably impossible. It sounds as if you had a problem, but maybe took some wrong steps to correct it. Since the concussion probably wiped out your memory of the event, how can you really know if the bike was to blame or just something you did wrong?toddlr72 wrote:I have a 05 ninja zx6r and I have a problem... I laid it down about 3 months ago cause of a malfunction with the bike and I need to find some people who have had the same problem as I. The malfunction was the throtle stuck on me as I was leaving work. I realy don't remember anything from the accident but from what the witnesses said that I grabed the throtle with bothhands just as I hit the dip and went airborne across 4 lanes of traffic and hit a tree. I was lucky I walked away from this with a broken arm and a fractured C1. I need to know if there is anyone out there haveing problems or had problems with there bikes. This isa serious issue that needs to be delt with. I have found one person so far who has crashed cause of this and is now Paralized. I don't want this to happen to anyone else, Please let me know....

there were witnesses on site who are riders and one stunts, so they could tell by the way the bike sounded that the throtle stuck and they said it was crazy sounding .... I was leaving work when it happened and with the accelaration of my bike it gets moving pretty fast.. the estamated my speed by the skid marks I was going 40mph as I exited the parking lot. I wish I could remember everything that happened that day.
