I'm not a fan of the polished look.. but if it was black with subdued aluminum instead of polished, I'd probably dig it.
We're the first ones to starve
We're the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie in the sky
But we're always the last
When the gravy's shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

I am at a loss to guess what it is? Usually I can name a bike right away, but it looks like a small Korean or Chinese engine block. The frame looks to be a GSX-R copy, but other than that, I am stumped. What the heck is it?

Dammit, man... I wish I did still have that exhaust. I ended up selling the whole rig, pipe and all, to a guy who rebuilt it and slapped a load of paint on it. I think it was up for sale at a price ~I~ wouldn't pay for a salvaged bike.BuzZz wrote:Exactly what I thought about that bike, Liable.
Where you been, Man? Ain't seen you in awhile.
You still got that SuperTrapp system off your old FJ kickin' around the garage?......
Sorry I ain't been around. I've been busier than a one legged man in an a$$ kicking contest. I've been stickin' 'round another board for most of my entertainment these days. A lot of stuff changed at work (limiting my internet access... los bastardos) and I ended up breaking my arm back in August and then school started back up in September. I've mostly been a lurker and staying away from to many discussions...
How's that sweet FJ treatin' ya? Things alright up north? You're radio story was freakin' hilarious!

Didn't figure I'd get lucky on that one....
I sorta gathered from one of your other posts that you took a little header off a cliff and banged up a wing. Bummer. Drummer.... bummer-er. That's gotta suck in a big way. Good to see you back around some, we need more on our side these days, it seems.
And the old FJ is treating me pretty dam good. We did a few long-to-really-long trips and countless short blitzes this year and she held her own through all of it. Drop a few pounds of exhaust and snarl up the sound a bit, and she should do the same this year too.
Really looking at building a street/backroad tracker style bike this year. All the really curvy roads around here are gravel......
I'd love to start from an old Sportster, but financial practicalities dictate that it will probably be an old XS-650.
