hmmm was talkin to the dealer who had the zzr today, said the guy who got it was buying his first bike. Man, i donno but i dont think the zzr is a first bike bike. Probably lies in the grey area, maybe even the red area. Fool

We have a GS500F in the garage and its a great bike. Reliable, handles (even 2-up) and looks good. I'd recommend it.

I've put over 100,000 miles on a couple of GS500s and I'd recommend them too. :righton:

Hmmm I must be one of the only people that think the 500 Ninja looks better than the Suz GS... :mrgreen:

I'm the other. :) There's something about the Kawasaki look, in general, that I like better.

I have high hopes for the new 650R (it looks particularly attractive to me), but I'd like to see some more real-world reviews. I like sporty, but I don't think I could handle leaning forward any more than I already do for any extended time.

You gotta go sit on the Ninja 650...The riding position is not extreme...bike is totally sweet. I haven't read a bad review yet... :righton:

That's what I've read about the riding position. There just don't seem to be too many choices for sporty-looking standard-like seating bikes, and the 650R is the only one I've seen that is physically appealing to me.

I have to put a few thousand more miles on my EX500 before the wife will even consider letting me get another.
