This is my first bike, so the only thing I can compare it to is the mountain bike I used to have...on that note, this is a VERY comfortable bike. A lot of people have complained about a bracket in the back part of the seat hitting their tailbone just right, but I haven't experienced it. They have lowered their bikes, too (I believe), so that could be changing their riding position to bring that bracket more in contact with the tailbone.
I can easily flat-foot the bike (it is a cruiser...) and the foot controls are at just the right length from me.
The handlebars could be rotated back just a little bit more towards me so I can lean back a little more, but right now it's perfectly fine. I'm extremely happy.

Feels really good so far. Feet reach the floor just fine. It's very balanced. In fact thats one of the things that sold me on it. I mounted it and my left leg pushed a little bit on the seat and it just stood up and grabbed me by the butt. Still getting used to the torque, but I think it's gonna be just fine. Forward controls feel a little strange... It's the 1st I've ever ridden with them.

Bike is a 1996 Vulcan 800 Classic - stock except for risers and handlebars
Weighs somewhere around 525 lbs (I think - could be wrong though)
Very comfortable bike. I did 6 1/2 hours with only about a 10 minute break every 2 hours last summer and was perfectly comfortable until the last 15 minutes.

Not a problem in the world with the comfort of the Bike, on longer journeys I just move my riding position on the seat to keep my back loose and good. 20k or so in miles last year without worry.

This bike is quite comfortable and the weight isn't hard to manage at all. This is my first bike. Would prefer a slightly more aggressive riding position (some new bars might be on order).
I have sat a few bikes recently that have ranged anywhere from torture device uncomfortable to recliner comfy.
BMW K1200S - Most Comfortable Sportbike I have ever sat on.
BMW K1200R - Most UNComfortable Standard I have ever sat on.
Kawasaki Mean Streak - Very Comfy, but dont like forward controls
Kawasaki Ninja 650R - Suprisingly comfy, definately a standard in sportbike clothing
Kawasaki ZX-6R - chiropractors best friend
Ducati 999 (yes they let me sit on it) - Plank for a seat, bars are down there somewhere, great peg position though
Ducati 749 - ditto
Ducati Monster S2R 800 - Suprisingly Comfy, hmm better walk away fast before I buy it.

The bike fits me right. I don't have that big a problem with the seat like some other guys talk about. Its comfortable enough for a long ride, but I got to stop and smell the pie sometimes. (Except that I need to stay away from pie).

These days I am about 5'5.5" and weigh 159 lbs .
My 1996 custom 50ci Suzuki Intruder is one of the most comfortable rides I've ever owned .
