I am in the beginning stages of a safety campaign for motorcycle riders in a midwestern state. I would greatly appreciate anyone answering the following questions. Thanks so much for your time.

1. How long have you been riding a motorcycle?
(Specific: Riding, motorcycle, years/months?)

One year. 11,000km

2. Since you started riding, have you ever been in an accident? If yes, please answer the following questions.
no
a. How many times have you been in an accident?

b. Did any of the accidents involve other vehicles such as cars?

c. Were any of the accidents so severe that you visited the ER or were hospitalized? If yes, please indicate the type of injury sustained.

3. Do you think there is a need to raise awareness for motorcycle safety?
a) If yes, what would be the best way to do this? Please provide a list of suggestions.
yes
Mandatory riding classes
A somewhat graduated bike size for new riders.
More car driver awareness education

4. What do you think are some incentives that would motivate motorcycles riders to participate in a safety campaign?
less expensive insurance for those riders who commit to riding safely and within the law.
bigger discounts for more mature riders who have had years of driving experience to back them up when they ride.
less expensive riding lessons

5. In the past few years, has anyone tried to stop you from riding motorcycle? yes
If yes, who was the person?
the first motorcycle instructor....he was an a$$h-le

6. What did that person say?
It wasn't so much what he said but how he behaved

7. What was your reaction?
I didn't finish the course with the school, I managed to get a refund and then I hired a private instructor

8. When riding your motorcycle, how often do you wear a helmet or other protective gear?
always
a. What kinds of safety equipment do you use, if any?
helmet, either sunglasses or face shield, gloves, armoured jacket, heavy jeans and boots.
