No job for the last couple of months has eaten through all my savings. Start work on Thursday. It was nice to have the time off, but now there are lots of things I want to buy that I should have been able to afford but cannot.
New Skis and poles
Better ski goggles
And another ski trip
New Undertray, Bellypan, and Windscreen for my bike
another gig of ram for the computer
maybe a 19inch CRT moniter...
sigh.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

You realize that once you install the new bodywork you're not allowed on the streets again right?

that will beat the purpose... im gonna buy that so that if i do crash, i won't damage my lights and original plastic. i bet my original plastic is more expensive than that bodywork plus that body is very tough compared to my orginal plastic.jmillheiser wrote:Heck just modify the racing plastics to take the lights and mirrors.
I like that suit. But im kinda biased towards Tecknic gear, I have a Tecknic jacket and love it.
im just gonna inter-change them. after a track day, i'll put back the original fairings. i dunno how complicated inter-changing the bodywork and disconnecting and reconnecting the wiring will be, but i'd rather do that.
that will be my plan for the future.
