ive never learned to drive stick. i dnt know anyone who has a stick and i couldnt find a stick for the car i bought. atleast not anywhere near me. for daily driving auto is better in a car. for bikes though u will miss out on a big part of riding.I really think people that do not learn to drive a manual are just lazy. I mean it is REALLY NOT hard. When I learned ow to drive a stick shift, it took me less than a week to be competent driving around the streets.
Why so judgemental, Chris? Maybe not everyone is as coordinated as you. I know people who've found learning to shift a bike (or a car) quite challenging. What difference does it make to you? They're not telling you that you can't ride a bike with a standard transmission.... why dump on people who decide to go the automatic route? They're riding, they're having fun -- good for them.Chris8187 wrote:I really think people that do not learn to drive a manual are just lazy
Bully for you. Some people need more time than that. A lot more time.Chris8187 wrote:When I learned ow to drive a stick shift, it took me less than a week to be competent driving around the streets.
