I really think people that do not learn to drive a manual are just lazy. I mean it is REALLY NOT hard. When I learned ow to drive a stick shift, it took me less than a week to be competent driving around the streets.

Why so judgemental, Chris? Maybe not everyone is as coordinated as you. I know people who've found learning to shift a bike (or a car) quite challenging. What difference does it make to you? They're not telling you that you can't ride a bike with a standard transmission.... why dump on people who decide to go the automatic route? They're riding, they're having fun -- good for them.

Bully for you. Some people need more time than that. A lot more time.

I never said automatics are bad. I worded my post wrong I guess. What I meant to say is the people who say, "I could never learn a manual," are the lazy folks. I personally like manuals just because I think they are fun and give more control not because they give a "race car" feel. If the only reason a person wouldn't get a motorcycle was because it was a manual, they are most likely just lazy. I'm just making an observation, and I'm talking about the average person, not those with special cricumstances or conditions.

its the same style as what they use on snowmobiles and those old honda odysseys.
you can buy a smaller version and throw on a go cart for under $200
