when i got my frame sliders, i made sure it's the one for my bike. installed it w/o cutting anything.
You also have a very different bike. Having to cut the fairing to install them is rather common, you just got lucky. Oh, and that race fairing you're planning on buying will probably need to be cut to fit around the sliders.

doesn't look like i need to cut anything to install sliders... it also has an opening for the sliders just like my OEM fairing.
