seriously though, i'll look like sleaze ball if tried to hit on her so no thanks.

i prefer doing things in a much more discreet way like talking casually and then move up from there.

How many other times are you gonna see this lady? Probably never.

Might as well take the chance.
but that's when you already have your DL389 form... and then you exchange it and the permit to get yout temp lic and then wait for the actual card.
oooh I didn't know that's what it was called.

Well that sucks. They just kind of handed us ours...

Edit: Oh and there should be a hard copy of the voucher (a card stock version and a paper version).

Be sure to hang on to it, because I just looked for mine and seem to have lost it. Probably just lost 10% off my insurance...sigh.
Have fun on the open /¦\

AAA doesn't give discounts when you take an MSF course, they only give it if you take their course, but they don't have one for motorcyles.

I enjoyed my MSF course immensely, but I also had zero experience when I took it. The countersteering exercises were my favorite part too. I also took it on a dual sport instead of a cruiser.

I definately learned a lot from the course, and I can definately say that what I learned in the course has helped me to avoid one accident already.

In wyoming we dont have to wait for our test waiver, its given to us at the end of the course if we pass

was the range located at that little place next to pierce? the whatever center?

about the stunt woman....think i know who you're talking about....she and a guy named steve who was also a stunt rider were my MSF instructors(he had a CBR 1000).....really cool people.

i saw someone who looked like her at a red light on ventura & white oak...she had her helmet on so i wasn't sure it was her.....but you don't see that many girl riders on the street so i know it was her....she was also on a gixxer 1000....it was sick. :motorbike: .....anyway, if she does, then you can talk to her about gixxers.

tell her i'm the guy with the black ex500 who had a broken headlight...she should remember...

i'll never forget that day, the msf ended at around 6-7 pm and it got dark outside.....had to ride home with no headlights....fookin Kolbe....anyway, it wasn't too bad until i got to the small streets behind taft...almost crashed. :motorcycle3:

looks like i'll be bringing my bike today to my 2nd range...

i don't trust my car after the accident and i don't have another car i can borrow.

today's range will start at 12 noon, so i think it'll be done before dark.

good luck to me since this day will be the final evaluation. :D

I took mine in July. Jersey heat & humidity in July can be impressive, especially on an asphalt parking lot. They wanted us there by 7:00 am. People started trickling in at 6:30, we had the whole crew by 10 before 7, and awaaay we went!!
