I started out that way. :)
and that you have to proclaim that you ride to rest of the world.
Nah. I don't care if anyone knows what I ride or care what anyone else rides. As long as you ride. :)

That having been said, My wife and I bought a bunch of Yamaha stuff when we got our bike (we got discounts for buying the bike). We picked up some Yamaha keychains and long sleeved shirts.

I rock a fox moto hat. I thought about gettinga honda hat, but the Fox "Hat 17" appealed to me. Pardon the grease, I've been tearing the XR apart. The carb is sitting on a table in the barn wating for a rebuild.

I used to have a windshield banner that said "Golfcourses Should Be Motocross Tracks" on my truck when I was punkass teenager.....

I'm looking for another one now. Can't find 'em no more.

I've got one that says, "Ride It Like You Stole It." But it was poor quality and the printing is wearing off, so it's my work/ski shirt now.

Every once in a while I have an urge to buy a "Honda Hornet" shirt, but then I remember that being a biker isn't something you should have to advertise when you aren't riding.

I've always thought there's a fine line between discussing that sort of thing with non-riders and being the annoying person who won't shut up about it. So I let it fly pretty low. It's really cool at the end second semester (end of winter, start of spring) when the geeky, quiet, smart kid at the back of the class suddenly starts showing up in a leather jacket with a fullface. Some people look pretty shocked.

at a motorcycle show, I saw an individual with a big old Hayabusa symbol on his chest, he seemed proud of it. I figure if you like something, go all the way.

I have a nice Yamaha baseball cap, but I didn't buy it. I joined a yamaha corporate site's mailing list and without telling me they were going to, they sent it in the mail.... 8)

I got one of these:

but that is only when I am riding. I do not fall for the BMW/HD marketing thing. A lot of people are suprised when they find out that we do ride, but then again I have been suprised to see some people that I did not know have bikes too. The HD crowd here are the worst, they hide everthing in norml daily but get dressed up like queens when they go on a Harley ride.
BMW apparell is good quality but the prices are stupid and do not ever buy a BMW helmet, they suck.
