As for your spark plugs, try to match them up with these: http://www.dansmc.com/spark_plugs/spark ... talog.html

Also, do they smell like gas? They were most likely gas-fouled. As to why that's the case, it's probably from trying to start it earlier, with choke and/or throttle and the engine not catching. But there is still a problem of why they fouled in the first place.

If you can, post some pictures of the plugs, check them against the pictures in the link, and try to narrow down the cause of the fouling.
