thanks for the replies and ha ha for the marriage jokes. cant wait to start riding. its all i can think about. i will do anything to get that bike.

hmm... they are both similar. Both require very minimal maintenance. Although, I do spend more money on my girlfriend on average, but when you include the initial cost of my bikes, she still has a little way to go.
I'm getting off cheap in both cases.

sorry guys i have changed my mind. just went to the dealer and checked out the gs 500 again and there is no question that is what im getting. i like the kawi, but i love the suzuki. that is my final answer and you can qute me on that.

cant go wrong with either of em.
I personally find the GS to be a lil more comfy than the EX. And the EX is still very comfy for a sportbike

just got me a gs 500 today. fiance suprised me ant told me c'mon we are going to get your bike. i haventt really riden it yet taking msf next weekend. played with it in the driveway on starts and stops but not going on the road til i take msf and learn. just excited.
