The rumor about putting a freeway through there has been around a couple of years. Ain't gonna happen. The dragon borders on a National Park, and there are several hundred species of plants & animals which are only found in that region. It wouldn't be worth the effort to address the environmental concerns which would be raised if they tried to build there. If they ever put a freeway through that region, it would be located to the west of the reservoir bordering the Dragon.
