It would be a far better idea if they at provided a right hand one that looked similar, as it stands you're spending $120 or so for 1 peg and 1 disc lock, as opposed to $80 for two aftermarket pegs and $30 for one disk lock.

My theft deterent..Bike looks like a piece of junk and fouls plugs after 70 Kms or so, so even if they do take it, they wont get far *L

Hehe...that's my thinking too - although I might have a bike worth stealing one day(?)

Prices and matching and whatnot aside, that is a really good idea.
If you're anything like me though, when you put your left foot down on nothing you'd fall off the bike anyway! like missing a step on the staircase sort of thing.
I liked the video too. Suspenseful!

What a great video. I liked the part when he got really excited that he forgot to unlock his wheel.
Its a good idea but yes I agree too expensive to get matching pegs.

Always thought those rotor locks were stupid. This IS a great product for the absent minded. (like me)

It's not a bad idea, I have seen lots worse products on the market. Like the other guy said, for the money they should at least give ya two of them so things look even. There is the other type that have that built in siren, my friend has one of those and stores it under the seat cowl area. Darn thing is loud as heck to. Howd they get all that noise out of it is something. Me use it? most likely not! I gots to admit though, I am putting in that Scorpion alarm system with all the bells and whistles.

Lets face it. If they want your bike, they're going to take it. Locks, alarms or German Sheppard they're going to get it.
