Well, it's actually a water displacer. And WD-40 themselves state, on their website, it's ok to use on motorcycle chains. Whether it's the best thing to use or not is a whole different story.J.R. I have a similar question.
I bought a used Honda 250 this past March. Now, I notice that there is a bit of corrosion on the chain. How do I deal with it? Would a little WD40 or gear lube be all that it takes to correct the matter? Or should I replace the chain? Should I do something else? If so, how much should what I need to do cost? But since this is my first bike, I do not want to do anything too stupid.
