dead nighthawk..what to do?

Ok it runs now...i put a new set of wires on. that got it to 'run' then i seafoamed the gas supply and it seemed pretty allright, in need of some tuning but not bad. i rode it 100 miles or so this week but it did the famous cut-out on me this evening. it limped home for about 1/2 mile intermitendtly losing power.

is it possible something is hanging up in the valve train?

any other idea?
