Feel my pain.
Since coming back from my cross country trip, I havnt been on a bike, except for some short jaunts one day on my old Honda Cb360, which my ex now uses to get to work.
Keep in mind I commuted every day, ran every errand, went to work, visited friends, all on my bike, up until I left it in san Diego 2.5 weeks ago.
Now, I dont know if I have the vacation time this year to go back and get my bike.
So Im going to buy a new one. But I wont be able to afford it for another few weeks.
So it hurts. I drive my Jeep Grand Cherokee every day. The most boring vehicle ever conceived by man. My heart aches whenever I pass any person on a motorcycle. The weather has been beautiful ever since I got back, which makes it even worse.
uhg.
moan
groan
"dog"
ok, i'm done now. I'm going to go dream about the days I used to have, on those beautiful two wheels...and cry.
p.s. i'm looking into becoming an MSF inistructor here in PA next spring.
just thought I'd share.

I suppose you could have the bike shipped back, but maybe that would take the fun out of getting a new bike!
Where in the Phili area are you?

I must disagree. The Jeep Grand Cherokee can be flogged mercilessly through the woods in pursuit of ever-deeper ruts full of mud and black flies -- while listening to Vivaldi on the XM radio and maintaining a steady 68.2 degrees Fahrenheit for the driver and 78.9 degrees for the passenger. Not boring.
MY car is boring. 1984 Ford LTD Crown Victoria.

When I want to change direction I have to file a form with the Dept. of the Navy.

Fair enough.
Until the engine blew a rod out of the oilpan, I used to drive this:
