Nicely said. Right on!

i would love to get dirty looks from woman while i'm on my bike. i worked hard to take the steps on my own to get my license buy a bike and get my butt out there. if they cant do it then they're just jealous. if they're not jealous of you being on the bike yourself, they're probably just upset that the husband/boyfriend is thinking how sexy it is to see a woman rider. more power to you. :biker:

Hmmm. The nursing profession has for years had the reputation for eating its young, and rightly so. I spent a fair amount of time reminding my co-workers that this job was hard enough. There was no point in being hard on each other.

To rephrase for this situation: It's hard enough to be a woman in a man's world. Don't be hard on each other.

i agree with that. if i was to return the nasty look, then that would just make the situation worse...but theres no harm in being proud of yourself. hopefully for every dirty look you might receive you get two winks or smiles to make up for it.

Absolutely. And I take nothing away from your achievement, or your pride in it. Ride on, woman. :D

I get that from the "non-euro" crowd.. they seem to dislike me because I ride an Italian bike. Go figger.

oh and i'm a little insulted by the "tricycle squid" thing. I've been riding since 1975.
