ofblong, good vid.

Here's another: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5z9lD4C2Io

It's long, but a good watch

I don't think Americans understand that by electing BO the same people who screwed the US away will have majority in the House, Senate and Pres/VP slots. Uhh, checks and balances mean anything?

The fight long ago was about 'taxation without representation'. And the way Congress has neglected the ordinary citizens and have failed to represent what we want, and may I remind you we still get the hell taxed out of us, they are acting the very same as what citizens fought against before.

"From my cold dead hands... " Of course I can

I think what NYers need to do is get that moron McCarthy out of office. Mrs Barrel Shroud often comes after guns in her press for legislation. Most recently, refer to "Heat Seeking Bullet" Get her gone, and send Bloomberg along with her.

Now I've come realize that I don't hate politicians all together, but I hate ignorant politicians regulating and restricting activities that they have no working knowledge of. If you're against something, you better give me an educated working functional reason based on experience rather than emotional talking points

:climb:

Edit: Just watching the news - Joe Plumber again. There was a clip of BO at a rally and I quote "now how many plumbers do you know that make a quarter millions dollars a year". The reaction from the crowd was a condescending laugh and applause. DO YOU REALLY WANT A PRESIDENT THAT WILL PUNISH A PERSON FOR BUILDING A BUSINESS AND BEING SUCCESSFUL? Is this what you want your President to think of you, that you cannot be successful and if you are, you don't get to keep it? Why do you want a President who will put a cap on your success?

This isn't about plumbers, this is about who Joe Plumber represents. We all know someone who's breaking their back working long hours and who's hands are bleeding from the work they put into their business, their land, their home, their pursuits. And THAT is the American dream. Why are you going to let some elitist prick tell you what American dream you can and cannot have??? He says, its ok for everybody to be middle class, but you make it big time and we'll take your money and give a welfare check to the guy down the street. Cool?

No, not cool.

Tax plan my butt. BO wants to hand out money, what he calls a tax credit. Well he doesn't tell you that 40% of Americans do not pay taxes. It is those people that get a tax credit, ie, a welfare check funded by you and me, people who do pay taxes.

So you work your 40hrs or 60hrs a week, but you're going to work for free for a couple of those hours so the lazy "O Ring" down the street can collect YOUR welfare check.

Oh please, FOX is nearly the only MSM TV network that is Conservative. If you truly believe ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and CBS are "middle of the road and honest", you've got to stop drinking the koolaid.

I never said I trusted any of the mass media. I don't believe Fox news, nor do I believe the rest of our televised media network. A lot of print media is highly biased and misleading also. But it's really funny how everyone likes to blame the democrats and everyone likes to blame the republicans for the housing bubble and distressed economy. Ofblong's video tries to convince the viewer that these last two years of democratic majority has destroyed everything, but in reality, that is simply bogus. It was Pres Bush who recommended a wholly "ownership society," and it was the "Deregulation Senator" himself, John McCain, who has supported deregulation of the entire financial industry over the duration of his political career in whole. But no one should be pointing fingers now should they? Democrats Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton pressed the affirmative action banking enforcement and low-income lending procedures. Democrats suck, but the republicans sure do blow. But a phony proposal that all of this ruckus was caused by the last two year's democratic majority is nothing but complete non-sense. The housing bubble started to slowly erupt in mid to late 2006, and really burst throughout 2007 up until now.

After watching videos like that, I'm not so sure if I'm the one drinking the kool aid. But I'm very much looking forward to voting in a left wing socialist nut, instead of a warmongering cancer patient who has no valid plans to help the middle class, improve the health care system, or rid our dependence of foreign oil anytime during his four year term. And Sarah Palin's nomination is a total, non-humorous joke and an embarrassment entirely of her own. How dare she judge Obama and question where he came from? More American people are curious of where Sarah Palin came from, of her background and experience. And from what I've read, and what i've watched, her story is not very impressive, and not fit for VP. But you don't agree with me? Than you must not agree with the majority of American voters. But perhaps they're all drinking the kool aid also.

While I'm in school and working odd jobs here and there I couldn't really afford healthcare. I decided to get a low cost one for students and NY state ended up giving me Medicaid because I don't make enough. After all the money the government took from me when I had a steady job I think it was good that I got it even though I was willing to pay for it. I do agree with you on other forms of welfare though shorts. some of these people receiving it are lazy bottoms using their kids as an insurance.

The most f'ed up thing I've seen so far is the City Council, Senate and Congress giving themselves a raise while passing more taxes because we're in a deficit. Then tax dollars are going toward rich CEOs to go on vacation instead of actually improving their company which should've been off the map years ago.

Despite not having a steady job other than school I'm still getting taxed because of the interest I earn on my bank account and bonds. Being school doesn't net me much of a deduction... In fact I see that more morons are getting jobs that I would be better suited for because their friends got them in. Cronyism rules the world...

Healthcare is a real barrel of poop. We've definitely been in the position where we've not had it and it comes all out of our pocket just to get care. MRIs are expensive! So I definitely understand from that side of the fence. Unfortunately there are those that leech the system. Let me pick on illegals here for a sec, pregnant moms come in, go to a hospital and give birth to a kid who is now a legal US citizen. You and I pick up the tab. Now let's pick on people who have no interest in keeping themselves in acceptable shape. They don't exercise. They might drink way too much. Lots of smokers keep sucking the cancer sticks. Never mind that exercise increases worker productivity in the workplace. Never mind that daily activity serves to promote a stronger immune system. Never mind that obesity is a big problem (pun intended) and causes CVD, CHD, Diabetes, Low Back problems. Never mind that these are preventable diseases and illnesses.

I think McCain had an excellent point about education and the need for it. Aside for the need, people just need to quit being so damn lazy. Heaven knows us Health Educators got a degree for a reason. Start giving credits or discounts for those that do stay in shape and take care of themselves by going to the gym. They're actually productive members of their workplace. They take less sick days, and when they're not sick, that means they are not at the doctor's office. They are able to do their jobs, especially those that are active. B...

Ehhh, I lost my train of thought.

People everywhere want handouts. They think they're entitled. No one wants to play by any rules. I know sometimes we all need a little help here and there, and that's what these programs are meant for. While thinking up these plans the program looked and sounded great on paper, but these systems then got sucked dry and the system kept handing out until it was completely broken. Case in point, the housing market and crappy "O Ring" loans.

All these programs, all these handouts, they ALL need to be fixed. And with as many of them jacked up like they are, it is often better to cut your loses and put a stop to it all together. Start with a clean slate and draw up a plan and say this is the direction we are going with. Sometimes things are so screwed up you have to just call it and move on to the next.

Like a bike, you can crash the thing and its either salvageable or it truly is totaled. At some point, it's gong to cost so much to fix, the damage is so extensive that it is a no brainer to say, total it. Then you do some research and find a new bike so you can continue on. These screwed up programs are like that wrecked bike. At some point you have to say, enough.

As for Dem or Rep, there is blame to go around. The problem I have with Dems and Liberals in general is that they are the party that carries the ideology that govt needs to have a hand in things. Govt will hand out money in the form of programs. The ideology that handouts are normal and we're all happy to foot the bill. Well, I agree, some help is ok. But the Democrats are absolutely pitiful at policing themselves in regards to pulling in the reigns when they reigns NEED to be pulled in. None of the Democrats are ballsy enough to say to each other, 'this program is screwed up, we need to fix it. Again, the housing mess. Bill Clinton even said the Democrats NEED to open their ears and listen to what they are being told about potential problems. AND THEY STILL DIDN'T.

Electing the monopoly of bleeding heart ideology to the hill is not what's best. Ohh, don't forget about the Supreme court appointees who stay there for life. That will do real well.

OMG! That was one of the funniest and most hysterical bits of propaganda I've ever seen!

:roll2:

Thank you for that ofblong.

It really says a great deal when a mushy middle-of-the-road politician like Obama gets that kind of treatment.

And people take this seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol you are so blind you dont understand how gvt works. The president has his hands tied because the house and senate control the government and tell the president what to do.

sv I understand its a biased video but it still brings out points that are true :D.

Wrting in Ron Paul wount be the RIGHT thing to do.

Except it will hand the election to Obama, whom is going to take all guns, and turn America into a soicalist union called the NAU.

So are all forced to vote for the other liberal candidate, McLame.

If not, in 5 years there will be fighting in the streets.

I see there is way to many clueless liberals here for me to hang.

The line had been drawn, you have been warned.

You all can have your North American Union.

look it up. Even Obama's wife said"

" You better vote for Barrak, it is the last chance to have an black US President."

She knows something, you all dont.

Um, are you forgetting about the first six years of Bush's presidency during which there was a republican majority in the house and senate? Are you sure Bush was letting them tell him what to do? Most of the damage to our constitution, our bill of rights, and our national security occurred over those first six years. Bush vetoed his very first bill in 2006, a bill that would have loosened federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. So if there was anyone telling Bush what to do, it was your republican party during his first six years in office. These last two years have resulted in countless deadlocks due to Bush's relentlessly stubborn outlook and continuous threat to uncap his veto pen.

Did you vote for Bush twice? More than likely. You remind me of one of those Barack Hussein Obama haters I see broadcast on fox yelling, "He's a terrorist, he's a terrorist!!" Don't forget to grab your torch and pitchfork before your next rally!!! It's die hard, ignorant republicans such as yourself, ofblong, who vote for neo-cons like Bush and will vote for liars like McCain but then ask yourself why this country's policies have not improved, and why our human rights are slowly, but continuously diminishing.
