i use the compact fluorescents in my room, i actually think they are quite a bit brighter than the incandescents.

hmmmm, it would not surprise me to find out that in the USA you have a different standard. Perhaps when I am down there next time I will look and see. So far I am not impressed with the lights here...except for how long they last.

So I went to a dealership yesterday to look at all the purty motorcycles... *Drool* There was a guy there who had bought four new bikes in four years. Hadn't dropped or ruined any of 'em. I was asking about what bikes he's ridden and which were his favorite. I can't remember the first one he had, but he owned an FZ1, an ST1300, and is now on a DL650. Amazingly enough, he says out of all the bikes he's owned, the DL is his favorite so far. Apparently it carries him and his wife two-up fairly easily, at about 55 MPG, and even though he's still breaking it in, he doesn't have any trouble using torque in any gear...
