Wow FG - I missed that post as well. Glad to hear things are looking up! I would say hold on to the happiness and hold the depression at bay as long as it's a choice, eh?

Sounds like a congrats are you in order to you as well, Fast Eddy B.

Yesterday:

Went on a 400 mile trip with some other people that have saltwater aquariums. We stopped at 5 diff sw stores on the other side of the state. While down on that side we saw a motorcyclist thrown in the road along with his bike and 2 state police holding up traffic. Kinda scary moment becaue of all the "gaukers" that cant drive but instead have to stare and figure out whats going on. Just friggen drive people. I can say my shadow sucks for 2 up riding that far. Esp with my 250lb wife pushing me into the gas tank. My arse hurt but more so my back because the position I was pushed into. I can say my wife learned to turn her head in the direction we were turning because I pulled over once and told her to STOP leaning the opposite direction of the turn because I am struggling to go around the corners. This is before we got on the highway cause I didnt want to struggle going 80mph on the highway. I did come home with 1 coral and some pepermint shrimp.

Today:

Went on the 3 person tube behind my father-in-laws speed boat. let me tell you taking 4 turns iar at 45mph makes you use your strength. the 5th time I let go cause I couldnt hold on anymore and he went over the waves he had "just" created which were like 2 feet high. 3rd wave did me in. that was actually the FIRST time anyone has gotten me to let go. Of course we were out there for over an hour....

You have the last two arse backwards....bike first, then house

Went to the Gastown Show and Shine today, got some nice pictures, chatted with a nice girl from Austria while taking a smoke/coffee break before riding home........sigh, it really hurts when you realize young girls (20ish) now consider you to be a "safe" older man aka, a dad figure.....time to cry in my tea.

Cheap plug. Posted pictures of the Show and Shine on my blog. Go and take a look, something there for everyone......

Like I said, a cheap and self-serving plug.

I'm tearing my hair out trying to get this pattern to work for a customer :banghead2: I'm tempted to run away and go for another solo ride.

Nalian - congratulations!

FG, sorry to hear about the illness firing up - take care

I just dropped $520 on brakes for the car. I can't seem to get away with spending less than $500 a time on either vehicle :frusty:

Now I'm going to take the car to Staples and see if I can't find a decent computer speaker set up. I'm sick of always having to wear headphones. The 5.1 was sacraficed to the HDTV gods.

Went down to Hach to Red Baron to see the pretty bikes. I hoped they had some Aprilias for the lookin'. The only imports they had I was interested in were Ducatis  .........

Browsed a Hypermotard. Up close that bike is smaller than it looks on the web and in mags. It was sitting next to a SportClassic. Also ran into a beautiful SR4 and an SS900.

I got up close to a Hyosung GT250R. That was a first I think, and it looked like a halfway solid bike.

Anyway, there were tons more gorgeous bikes. As I walked through, I realized once we leave JP I'm not ever going to see a lot of those bike models ever again. I took a little longer to walk through :)

I went riding with another woman....we went on a pie ride. I've certainly had much better pie, but the ride was good today. It was the longest day out so far since I got back on my bike a few weeks ago. I definitely will sleep tonight. :sleepy:
