"im 26yo.
i already got the advice i need. i need more work on my upper body... it's still too close to the tank. need to move it to the side more and apply the "kiss the mirrors" technique more.
and like i said... i only started to hang off last month and it improved my cornering. so why should i stop if it's giving me good results."
I read that like "I need to hang off even more with my upper body". Everyone is telling you that you dont need to hang off at all. Hanging off improves you cornering in your own mind.
The track is a good place to practice that kind of technique. The canyons are unforgiving. When you find the limit and come off there will be no emergency crew there, only a guard rail or drop off. You are trying to race on the street, which is stupid and dangerous to you and others.
I am sure you have a comeback, but at 26yrs old I would have been just as irresponsible as you are. I am not trying to just call you names, its more of a reality check. I am 36yrs old and things look way different now. I am just learning to ride, and glad I didnt try this earlier. I was too stupid in my younger years as you are now. I can see that you are setting yourself up for the worst if you dont make some serious attitude changes.

That is correct, I know some young guys who are very mature. There is always exception to the rule. And alway someone better than yourself.kellanv wrote:Just thought I'd say that age and maturity are very different things...
I'm 22 and he still seems like a bonehead to me.

i agree... the canyons aren't really the ideal place to practice.
and yes, i need to take it to the tracks.
and trust me... i'll attend trackdays as soon as possible. i just don't have enough money and resources right now.

So how can you afford to be out of work and put yourself back together when you wreck in the canyons?VermilionX wrote:i agree... the canyons aren't really the ideal place to practice.

i don't push the limits at the canyons. i don't even drag knee. to me, if you're dragging knee, then you're going too fast on public roads. unless of course you're a really big guy and your knees are dragging even if yo're not going too fast.Beach wrote: So how can you afford to be out of work and put yourself back together when you wreck in the canyons?

good night to you too.
You wouldnt know "pushing the limits" if it walked up and bit you on the co.ck

"dont even drag knee" you know...up until not so long ago, GP riders never actually put their knees down either....why are you so fixated on this activity when you cant even stay up-right on some loose stuff?
I worry about you
