I promise not to wear (and have pictures taken of) myself in assless chaps.

However, I might consider a road visibility experiment a la British visibility commercial where we aren't too sure where the guy holds his toll pass...

I'll save that for nothingtoxic.... (and a stint in prison knowing how prude the states are)

A very interesting thread, I have just bought a new cruisher and needed to find out what it could and could not do, over the years I have driven many different machines and found that road surface, tires play a very important factor when leaning. Here in SA we have dirt, rubbish, oil, petals and rain to deal with as well as very rough surfaces in areas. My suggestion is get used to the bike and get confident, do a one day advanced drving course on the track, push the bike and yourself slowly around turns. if not get an old piece of scrap buy good leathers and actually lean until you come off, sometimes its the fear of being hurt or coming off that prevents or holds us back when leaning in a corner. Once off you realise its not that bad if your wearing the right gear. I have my crusiher 2 weeks ago on a track for an advanced riding course, I was not confident leaning at high speeds, well I realised I can easily handle her around corners at 120 kms without slipping so I got to know what she and myself can do. It was fun and I feel better

Haha - I'd love to get a scrap bike and just go for it somewhere. I've taken the first step on my bike, experimenting and trying to observe what my body is doing while I'm in turns, etc.
